ESOMEPRAZOLE :-

– New & effective proton pump inhibitors (PPls)
– Esomeprazole 40 mg provides more effective acid
control than twice standard dose of omeprazole.
– Maintenance dose esomeprazole 20 mg provided greater acid
control & maintained intra gastric PH- 4 for alonger period of time
than maintenance dose lansoprazole 15 mg, Rabprazole 10 mg &
Pantaprazole 20 mg in healthy subject.
